About Us

Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation

Our Mission is to assist the Incline Village Community Hospital in delivering the highest quality emergency and primary health care services by procuring financial resources, improving community awareness and involving community residents and visitors in developing a long-term vision for comprehensive health care in the communities of the north shore of Lake Tahoe, including Kings Beach, Crystal Bay and Incline Village.

Incline Village Community Hospital has state-of-the-art diagnostic and laboratory services and a dedicated staff that is passionate about providing this community and its visitors with 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week emergency services. Specialty and primary healthcare is offered weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm at the Incline Health Center located on the second floor of the hospital.

Since the inception of the Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation (IVCHF) in 2004, the board and community has raised more than $3.5 million from generous residents and visitors to Incline Village and Lake Tahoe. Many of these supporters have had personal experience utilizing the hospital and are grateful for the care it provides.

The foundation exists to support our hospital and, in turn, our community with only the best health care resources, including an award-winning emergency services department staff, a significant upgrade and remodel of the emergency department, and ongoing work to upgrade laboratory facilities and expand the Incline Medical Group and Incline Health Center.

Incline Village Community Hospital is a vital resource for residents of the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It remains the only hospital within a 25 mile radius of Incline Village. And visitors to Lake Tahoe who need emergency care or even routine lab work while on vacation can rest assured that some of the finest physicians, medical staff and technicians in the country stand at the ready.

Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation strives to ensure this vital resource continues to grow, modernize and provide excellent care for residents and visitors for generations to come.

IVCHF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Nevada. Tax ID#: 20-0752156.

The Foundation's History begins with Jack Cooke, whose great passion for his community led him in 2004 to gather the fellow community leaders who would form the Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation. Jack was a visionary who knew how to inspire people to work together for the good of the community. Jack's vision for the foundation was to build on the expert level of care provided by Incline Village Community Hospital and make it a destination health care facility where people would travel near and far to receive the excellent services being provided in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

Sadly, Jack passed away in 2005. The foundation board he cultivated is his legacy to Incline Village Community Hospital and this community.

Jack’s vision is well underway. Under the direction of an effective and dedicated foundation board of directors and strong leadership of IVCH by Administrator Judy Newland, Tahoe Forest Health System CEO Harry Weis and TFHS’s staff members, the IVCHF has made strong strides in elevating patient care in a welcoming and safe environment.
