Discharge and Retail Pharmacy Information

Once your physician has given the order for your discharge, your nurse will instruct you on your discharge needs.

The discharge process can often take time. Be sure to check with your nurse about the time of your discharge so you can arrange for a ride home. After your discharge is complete, a staff member will escort you to the main entrance and will provide any assistance you may need.

Medications that you may need after your discharge may be purchased from the Tahoe Forest Hospital Pharmacy, located directly across the street from the hospital in the Medical Office Building.
