Lynelle Tyler, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist at the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center. She received her MA in Psychology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California in 1984 and her Doctor of Psychology from the Professional School of Psychology in Sacramento in 2013. She began her pre- and post-doctoral studies at the Cancer Center in 2012, and recently received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Tyler’s specialties include adjustment to physical disability and chronic disease, and diagnosis and treatment of learning difficulties. Her current focus is on the treatment of trauma. Dr. Tyler’s other interests include singing and learning to play musical instruments. She is certified by the California Board of Psychology and joined Tahoe Forest Health System as a clinical psychologist in 2016.
