Cara Streit, MD, FACOG

Dr. Streit completed medical school training at University of Nevada, Reno, an OB-GYN residency at U.C. Davis Medical Center, and has been in practice since 2012 in Oregon and Reno.

Dr. Cara Streit became a doctor to combine her passion for helping people with her interest in science. Cara enjoys women’s health because it allows her to care for women throughout their lifetime. She empowers her patients to become partners in their health care and strives to deliver high-quality medical care. She provides full-spectrum obstetric care, as well as office gynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with our other TFWC physicians. 

Cara is a Tahoe native and was born at Tahoe Forest Hospital. She returned to the Truckee-Tahoe area with her husband and two children. Cara and her family enjoy the many outdoor activities the area provides.
