A Message from Louis Ward, Interim CEO, Regarding Access to Primary Care
Louis Ward, Interim CEO of Tahoe Forest Health System, discusses the steps being taken to improve access to primary care, increase capacity, and bring in more primary care providers. With a 15,000 square-foot building remodel underway, an additional 25 patient care rooms will soon be available, aimed at enhancing primary care services and supporting specialty care providers. By expanding physical space and adding new providers, along with partnerships to improve efficiencies and standardize procedures, these efforts are set to make a positive impact on healthcare access and quality.
