What insurance do you accept?

Please call your insurance to verify that we are within your network.

How old does my child have to be to come alone?

All patients under 18 must come with a legal guardian for all appointments. Once children turn 18, they will need to seek care with an adult medicine/family practice provider.

Can I send my child with a relative if neither guardian is available?

Yes, but you must send a photo copy of the guardian’s ID and a note consenting to the visit, treatments, and all vaccinations due. Please call ahead to verify what vaccine are due.

How often does my child need to be seen for well child checks?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following schedule for routine well-care visits:

  • 3 to 5 days
  • 2 weeks
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 2 years

And once every year thereafter for an annual health supervision visit that includes a physical exam, any due vaccinations as well as a developmental, behavioral, and learning assessment.

Why does my child need to receive vaccinations?

Immunizations are a series of shots given to children to help protect against serious and potentially fatal diseases. Making sure your child receives immunizations when recommended is the best way to help protect your child.  By California and Nevada law, schools require immunizations before admission.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding vaccinations, please do not hesitate to contact our office.  Please reference our immunization schedule to see when your child will be due for vaccines as well as the diseases they protect against.

What vaccinations will be given to my child and when?

We follow the CDC guidelines and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations.  Please reference our immunization schedule.  If your child is due for any vaccines, we will review and encourage any and all recommended vaccines at your visit.  If you have any questions regarding vaccines, please do not hesitate to contact our office to discuss.  There are also links to several informative and educational websites in the Resources section.
