Here at the Tahoe Forest Health System we treat many kinds of illnesses and injuries. We are presently a level four trauma center in Truckee and our team is working hard over the next several months to achieve a level three trauma center designation as well. We can treat pretty much most types of illnesses or injuries with the exception of severe head heart or back injuries or illnesses, and even in those cases we might be the best place to stabilize and then plan the next transfer or tertiary care.
