Tahoe Forest Health System (TFHS) has expanded its “Heart to Heart” cardiac rehabilitation service with the addition of a new Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR) program. Tahoe Forest Health System is the first Pritikin ICR location in California.
Pritikin ICR is a Medicare-approved, comprehensive lifestyle change program that teaches patients how to maximize recovery from a cardiovascular disease-related event including heart attack, coronary bypass surgery, congestive heart failure, angioplasty, stable angina, heart valve repair/replacement or heart/lung transplants.
