Hydration Challenge

Work on your hydration habits this summer! Set a fluid goal, monitor your hydration levels, and increase healthy fluids.

Here are Some Handy Tips for Hydration Success:

  • Bring a refillable water bottle with you everywhere you go
  • Put a rubber band around your water bottle for each time you finish the bottle in one day – add it up to monitor and set goals to improve your total daily intake.
  • Remember that with masks, many people haven’t been drinking as much water – noticing this will help you be more conscientious about taking sips throughout the day.
  • Make your water delicious: add herbs like mint or basil and fruit like limes or berries
  • Experiment with meeting your water needs (calculation can be found within the challenge) for 4 full days, and notice how great you feel.
  • Use that as motivation to continue. Eat hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables multiple times throughout the day.
  • Bring water with you when you’re active – you need more fluids on these days.
