Virtual Group Exercise Program

Join us for group fitness classes, all online! It's more than just exercise: get moving, get support, and stay connected! Live classes are offered four days a week, from all of your favorite instructors.
$45 for monthly membership, $10 drop in, free week for new members!

Breaking Unhealthy Habits Through Mindfulness

This class will show you how practicing mindfulness can open your mind to new perspectives and break stubborn habits that are getting in the way of your health and wellness goals.

ACL Post-Op Rehab Workshop

This workshop is for patients 4 months or more post-op ACL reconstruction surgery. It is led by Ashly Gillis, PT, and will provide:

  • Neuromuscular Re-Education
  • Affordable & Cost Effective

Living Well with a Chronic Condition (Virtual or In Person)

Whether you are dealing with pain, struggling with sleep or having difficulty maintaining your relationships,

Living Well will provide a safe, supportive environment for you to learn to take charge of your health. This program is appropriate for adults with chronic pain or any chronic health condition.

Join us for 6-weekly classes and learn:

  • How to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep
  • Exercises for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility, and endurance
  • Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals
  • Appropriate use of medications
  • Anti-inflammatory nutrition
  • Decision making strategies
  • How to evaluate new treatment options
  • Setting health goals...and sticking with them

Introduction to Pilates Reformer

Have you always wanted to try Pilates Reformer Classes? Here is your chance to see if these classes are a good fit for you! This workshop will introduce you to the benefits of Pilates and how to use the Reformer. You will be taught beginner exercises and appropriate modifications while experiencing the flow and enjoyment of a group Pilates class. People fall in love with the Reformer, come and find out why!

  • This workshop is designed for individuals diagnosed with cancer and cancer survivors to help them develop the tools to live a healthy and full life. Topics include:

Panel Discussion: Commit to Connect- Connecting with others plays a vital role in our individual health and well-being, and in that of our community. Connection can involve many things like finding joy in small things, keeping physically strong and healthy, sharing our stories, looking at the big picture and giving to others. Join us in a panel discussion around what resources are available that can help our community get connected, be strong and combat the social isolation of the last year of our lives.

Prepared Childbirth

This class will give you an overview of childbirth options in a fast-paced, intensive format. Our goal is to make you as prepared as possible to welcome your baby to the world!

Walk to Connect

Join us for a fun social connection walk along the beautiful Legacy Trail in Truckee! While leisurely walking, we will talk about tips and strategies to improve your gait and reduce your fall risk. Led by Lucy Navabpour, health coach and exercise specialist.

Infant & Child CPR (Virtual)

Be prepared for life threatening emergencies. This CPR class is appropriate for caregivers of infants and children. Grandparents, siblings, nannies, babysitters, and anyone else wanting to learn how to help save a life!

Tahoe Forest Cooking Club

Get out of your cooking rut and come get INSPIRED at our monthly Health Supportive Cooking Club!
Each month, our Registered Dietitian, Denice Hynd, will provide a fun and interactive cooking demo. You get to taste test and take home easy, healthy, and delicious recipes!

Students Will Learn:
2 hour workshop for students who are interested in learning more about yoga!

Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists will review your health goals and medical conditions to personalize a plan based on your needs, activity patterns, and lifestyle. It can be difficult to start any new practice in life. Mindfulness and meditation are no exception. It is helpful to have an experienced guide who can teach you the basics, hold you accountable for your practice, and offer guidance when you encounter difficulties. 

Personal Yoga, Pilates, and Fitness Training

A trainer will assess your individual abilities and help you set and achieve your fitness, wellness, and health goals. They will keep your work out fresh and fun so you stay motivated and achieve results. You will get an efficient, balanced, full body workout with weekly accountability and measurements of your progress.
