Nuero Adapted Chair Yoga

This Chair Yoga class utilizes classical yoga poses and breathing techniques adapted for anyone living with neurological conditions. Join Exercise Physiologist, Eren Corbit, who has over ten years of experience teaching Yoga and working with persons with Neurological conditions. This Yoga program focusing on strength, balance, flexibility and stability.

When: Wednesdays, May 4th-25th, 12:30-1:15pm

Intro to Yoga

Are you interested in learning about the ancient practice of yoga? Would you like to start experiencing the benefits of a practice that meets you where you are, and offers support for body, mind and community? Have you taken a few classes and want a deeper, more personal understanding of yoga’s history and benefits? Join us for a 4-week exploration of the 8 limbs of yoga, a practice with roots in South Asia that explores ethics, breath, movement and concentration. Each class will begin with conversation around the week’s theme, followed by 45 to 60 minutes of beginner practice. No experience is necessary.

When: Tuesdays, May 10th-31st, 5:30-7:00pm
Cost: $80 for 4 week series

Authentic Wellness: You and Your Loved One-Caring for an Aging Brain

In this short talk with interactive Q&A we will share an understanding of the aging brain affected by Dementia. Learn an empowering approach to caring for a loved one with Dementia that assists them in reaching their potential and optimizing their quality of life, while preventing caregiver burnout.
