FREE community program for those with chronic pain, anxiety, depression and stress that are impacting their health

How can Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction help with health conditions?

MBSR program helps people who are living with health conditions by cultivating practices that can be used in daily life. By practicing formal and informal mindfulness, participants will gain insight and wisdom into their present moment awareness of how their breath, bodily sensations, thoughts and emotions affect how they experience pain.

You will learn the tools to work with your health in a new way through the practices of the body scan, sitting awareness, gentle stretching, mindful walking, and discussions of exploration into the mind/body stress reactions.

Taught by UMass-trained instructor, Jackie Griffin, RN, BSN, trained through the Center for Mindfulness
