Tahoe Forest Health System Wins Silver Quality Award From California Awards For Performance Excellence (CAPE)
The Tahoe Forest Health System was awarded a Silver-Level Eureka Award for Performance Excellence by the California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE). As one of only six winners in the state, Tahoe Forest had the honor of being compared to the best hospitals in California, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This award brings us one step closer to our vision of becoming the best mountain community health system in the nation.

BECOME A NURSE AIDE OR HOME HEALTH AIDE
Become a Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide. The 49er Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is pleased to offer a pre-certification Nurse Aide (NA)/Home Health Aide Course at Tahoe Forest Hospital District. These occupations are one of a series of possible steps on a career ladder in the healthcare field.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Volunteers needed at the Tahoe Forest Hospice Thrift Stores in Kings Beach and Truckee. All proceeds from the Thrift Stores go to the Hospice Program. Volunteers help keep costs down and raise more money to go directly to the Hospice program. Call (530) 582-3534 for more information.
Tahoe Forest Hospital Foundation
Established in 1987 as a non-profit corporation organized to meet the needs of the hospital. Charitable donations and bequests to the Foundation provide new equipment, expansion of hospital facilities and support of quality health care services.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.
