Each year, at the Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation’s signature Best of Tahoe Chefs event, we gather with guests to support our Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center Oncology Support Services. Featuring specialty cuisine created by our region’s renowned chefs, we host a magical gala filled with friends, compelling patient stories, and philanthropy.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on our ability to safely gather in person, this year’s event has – once again - been cancelled. As we all know, this does not stop the need for ongoing access to our complimentary cancer patient support programs. The Foundation is immensely grateful to several members Foundation Board members, who have offered a $15,000 matching gift to support Oncology Support Services! Every gift given by community members will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $15,000. If you had planned on attending our 2021 gala and would still like to donate, please donate now!
