Women, Infants, and Children – WIC Program
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a health and nutrition program for babies and children under 5, pregnant women, and new mothers. WIC is an equal opportunity program. Dads, grandparents, caregivers, migrants, and foster parents of young children may apply!
WIC provides an electronic benefits card which is used to purchase prescribed nutritious foods, nutrition education and counseling on healthy eating, breastfeeding support services and referrals to healthcare and community programs. Eligibility is based on income, residency, and nutritional risk.
