We are happy to announce that we have designated $33,712.08 from the HGTV Dream Home Fund to Mental and Behavioral Health Services at Tahoe Forest. Our goal is to have a culturally competent behavioral/mental health program that provides treatment for a wide variety of mental health, psychosocial, motivational, and medical concerns, including management of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, smoking cessation, sleep hygiene, and chronic diseases. An integrated behavioral/mental health provider works alongside the patient’s primary care provider to enhance patient satisfaction and improve quality of care by supporting the patient in having their behavioral and mental health needs met. Our Health System is now providing this service to the community, and the Foundation is proud to support this program’s whole person approach!
