What is Urgent Care?
- Urgent care is for patients with an injury or illness that is NOT life threatening* but requires treatment within 24 hours.
- Urgent care offers a higher level of service than a primary care provider, including ready staff and onsite diagnostic services, such as x-ray and lab testing.
- Urgent care treatment is less expensive than a trip to the Emergency Room but more expensive than seeing a primary care provider.
Patients without insurance should be prepared to pay with cash or credit card at the time of service.
