Incline Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Hi, I’m Dr. Michael Jernick, an Orthopedic Surgeon with Tahoe Forest Health System.

I’d like to share a little about Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and the services we offer in Incline Village. As an orthopedic surgeon, I care for all issues related to the musculoskeletal system. This includes treating muscle strains, ligament and tendon tears, broken bones, and arthritic joints.

As a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, I have particular expertise in shoulders and knees. I take a conservative approach whenever possible, preferring non-operative care first. However, I also perform a wide variety of surgeries, including shoulder and knee arthroscopies, joint replacements for the shoulder, knee, and hip, as well as fracture care.

I split my practice between Truckee and Incline Village, and I especially enjoy my clinical days in Incline. It’s a wonderful community of active individuals who truly support their hospital. Our support staff in Incline is outstanding, and we take pride in ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner.
