Annual Well Child Checks support your child’s overall health, growth, and safety

Student athletes must have a current sports physical or Well Child Check that is valid for the entire sports season in order to participate. If the physical or Well Child Check expires before the season ends, your child may not be allowed to practice or compete.

Why get a Well Child Check instead of a sports physical?

A basic sports physical checks for vitals, measurements and a brief health history for sports.

A Well Child Check done by Pediatrics or Primary Care is a full spectrum health exam and covers all vitals, measurements, and health history, as well as discussions about mental health, sexual and reproductive health, and teenager vaccines. We highly recommend your child gets full spectrum care yearly.

Planning ahead helps avoid last minute stress, missed practices, and delays in participation.
