Tahoe Forest Therapy Services provides bike fits to help improve comfort, efficiency, and performance on the bike. Our physical therapists assess movement and positioning to help riders achieve a more comfortable and efficient fit.

Bike fits may also benefit riders who recently purchased a new bike, upgraded components, changed riding styles, or are preparing for road, trail, or gravel season.
A bike fit may also be beneficial for individuals recovering from surgery or injury who want to ensure their bike setup supports a safe and comfortable return to riding.

What to expect
Appointments typically last 60–90 minutes and include a one-on-one evaluation with a physical therapist.
During your session, your therapist will observe you riding your bicycle, discuss any discomfort you may be experiencing, and evaluate factors that may be affecting your riding position and comfort. This may include assessing movement patterns, measuring joint angles, and reviewing your overall bike setup.

In some cases, your therapist may recommend equipment changes, such as a different saddle, stem, or shoes, to help improve comfort and positioning.

Bike fits are available through Tahoe Forest Therapy Services in:
Each clinic has physical therapists who are Gold Level certified in bike fitting and can perform bike fits on most upright bicycles.

Bike fitting services are offered through physical therapy and require an active referral. Ask your provider about a referral to get started.
Insurance will be billed for services. Applicable copays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket costs associated with your physical therapy benefits may apply.
