The inpatient physical therapy department serves patients at Tahoe Forest Hospital. They provide therapeutic services for individuals during their hospitalization. Inpatient physical therapists commonly treat postoperative patients who have received total joint replacements, patients with traumatic injuries, and patients hospitalized due to illness. Additionally, our team provides skilled inpatient rehabilitation services to patients at our Skilled Nursing Center to ensure they can return home safely and to the residents of the Tahoe Forest Long Term Care Center.
The inpatient physical therapists at Tahoe Forest Hospital may work with a team with Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and nursing to help patients regain their strength and function.
