Recipe: Garlic Herb Cottage Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender* and puree until smooth. You may need about 1 tablespoon water or milk if the mixture is too thick. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
  2. Serve with veggie sticks or whole grain crackers like Triscuits.

*If you do not have a blender you can mix this in a bowl with a spoon. The texture will be like cottage cheese and not “whipped”.

Makes 1, ¼ cup servings
