Recipe: Roasted Turnips

Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds turnips peeled and cut into bite sized pieces (the larger the pieces, the more time they will take to cook)
- 4 teaspoons olive oil (2 teaspoons to roast with and 2 teaspoons to toss in after roasting)
- ⅛ teaspoon ground sage
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Toss turnips with olive oil, sage, salt & pepper.
- Roast 30-40 minutes or until tender.
- Remove from the oven, toss with 2 teaspoons of olive oil and season with additional salt and pepper to taste as needed.
