Our wound care specialists are physical therapists with advanced wound care certifications and training. Our team evaluates and treats a wide variety of wounds, ranging from chronic non-healing wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical dehiscence, burns, trauma wounds, pressure ulcers, and infected wounds that require sharp debridement.
Each wound is handled with utmost care to best optimize healing, using a collaborative approach involving the entire interdisciplinary team. A course of wound care requires a physician referral and may entail coming to the clinic for treatment 2-3 times a week for several weeks to allow the wound to heal.
