Community Health Program Coordinator
Alyssa Villalpando is the Community Health Program Coordinator at Tahoe Forest Hospital, where she will lead and support community health programs. She has experience working in pediatric clinical care, dementia education, statewide initiatives, collaborating with healthcare partners and improving access to resources for growing healthy communities. She is passionate about access to quality healthcare and health programs within the community especially for our diverse and vulnerable populations.
Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Science with a Public Health degree and minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in 2023. She then returned in the fall to UNR for her Master of Public Health with a specialty in Health Administration and Health Policy, where she served as President of the Master of Public Health Program and led a dementia education statewide program and graduated with her MPH in 2025. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors whether it’s hiking, paddle boarding, or snowshoeing, as well as spending time with her dog “Kiki” and family.
