Health Educator
Claudia Garcia Aguilar is a public health professional with proven skills in community outreach, bilingual health education, and program coordination. She developed and implemented bilingual health promotion campaigns focused on tobacco/vaping prevention, nutrition, chronic disease management, and access to preventative care. She supports school and community based initiatives and uses data driven strategies to ensure education is culturally responsive and accessible to diverse populations. She is dedicated to facilitating positive community change through innovative interventions and health advocacy to advance health equity.
Claudia completed her Bachelors in Community Health Science and Masters of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Health from the University of Nevada, Reno. While completing her Master’s in Public Health, she served as a Graduate Research Assistant in program evaluation on a SAMHSA funded program, focused on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in youth and behavioral health outcomes from 2022-2024. In her spare time, Claudia enjoys being outdoors by hiking, camping, traveling, and trying new food and cuisines.
