California law (Assembly Bill 1204) requires hospitals to share information about the quality of care and patient outcomes across different groups of people, such as age, race/ethnicity, language, and insurance type. Each year, hospitals must submit a report to the state that highlights areas where differences in care exist and outline plans to improve equity. These reports are posted publicly on both the state’s website and each hospital’s website, including ours, so that patients and families can see how we are working to ensure fair and equal care for everyone.
