Profile
Murphy was born in Escalon, California in 2018. At 8 weeks of age, he moved to North Tahoe/Truckee and began studying for his K-9 Good Citizen Certification. At the age of 1, Murphy obtained his K-9 Good Citizen Credential. All the credentialing professors considered Murphy as a Puppy Prodigy excelling at all the requirements for being a Good Boy. Murphy started fresh out of K-9 College entering the Tahoe Forest Pet Assisted Therapy program as the Therapy Dog at Dr. Lombard’s office. At the age of 7, Murphy transferred to the IVCH Physical Therapy office for an improved work life balance.
Murphy specializes in bed side ear scratches, belly rubs while stretching, and the biggest IVCH PT welcoming committee. When Murphy isn’t comforting patients, he enjoys swimming, kayaking, walks, and butt sniffs at the Happy Place, and rolling in the snow. Murphy is a man of many vests. When he isn’t wearing his TFHS Therapy vest, Murphy is a proud member of Incline Village Goose Patrol.
