Megan Shirley, PA-C

Megan Shirley is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland in 2012. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Megan joined Tahoe Forest Health System in 2013.

Megan has several roles at Tahoe Forest Health System. As the Population Health Medical Director, she offers clinical insight to the Community Health Team, assists with their strategy and initiatives, and acts as a laison between Community Health and the clinical team at Tahoe Forest. She also works in the Primary Care Clinics seeing patients as a physician assistant.  She graduated from Samuel Merritt in 2012 with a Master of Physician Assistant (MPA). In 2024, she earned her MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado.  Megan was born in Truckee and takes pride in calling the Tahoe and Truckee region her home!
