Turnip fun facts
- They are related to mustard plants, and their roots are rich with vitamin C.
- Both the root and the leafy greens of the turnip are edible and can be cooked or eaten raw.
- Raw turnips can have a slightly spicy taste, but when cooked, they become sweeter and nutty.
