Physician Assistant

Danny Buchanan is a Certified Physician Assistant, and after working in primary care and occupational health at both Tahoe Forest Hospital and Incline Village Community Hospital, he expanded his career and now works as a surgery assistant at both hospitals.

Danny graduated from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland in 2001 and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. He taught CPR at Tahoe Forest Hospital, earned his PA degree and then returned to the Health System in 2003. Danny’s interests include fly fishing, hiking and Nordic and downhill skiing. His two sons are his pride and joy. He coaches soccer and is the president of the Barcelona NorCal Soccer Club.
