1. How are you staying sane during COVID?
Bike rides, dining al fresco on my deck, and enjoying time at Donner Lake all assist with my mental health. As winter comes, I'll be looking to use a daily yoga and meditation practice as well as neighborhood walks to bring me a semblance of sanity.
2. What is your favorite aspect of instructing/teaching?Â
I love seeing students develop a new understanding of their body and helping them decrease pain and tension.
3. What is your favorite activity on a day off?Â
I'm an avid mountain biker and snowboarder, so depending on the season and conditions, these activities are some of my favorite things to do. If the weather is inclement, I'll stay inside and read, cook, bake, and maybe sew.
4. Where is the one of the best vacations you have been on?
Two years ago, my partner and I took a trip to southern Utah where we explored Zion National Park, Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. We met up with friends and family and enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and witnessing amazing rock art of the ancestral Puebloans.
