Greetings from Tahoe Forest Health System!
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
From our beginnings as a 15-bed hospital made possible by the vision and generosity of our community, Tahoe Forest Health System has always been by the community, for the community. That spirit remains strong today and continues to inspire our growth and evolution.
As we look ahead, we are embarking on a shared pursuit of the future, a horizon that will guide us in the years to come. This work will take thoughtful planning and collaboration, but it builds on the remarkable progress already happening across our health system. Emerging themes in these conversations include improving access to care within reach, building on excellence, and expanding our capabilities to meet change with resilience and transformation.
We are also excited about the strides we are making to expand and improve access to care right now. Our clinics and facilities are undergoing enhancements, with renovations and technology upgrades designed to make it easier for patients to receive care close to home. These investments, including new equipment and modernized systems, will help us continue delivering safe, high-quality care for years to come.
Innovation and technology remain top priorities. Our teams are implementing updated digital tools, enhancing communication systems, and exploring emerging technologies that support both patient care and staff workflows. These improvements allow us to focus even more on what matters most: our patients.
The coming weeks also bring a variety of community events on important health and wellness topics. We are proud to both host and participate in these gatherings, which give us an opportunity to connect with our community outside of the clinical setting.
As we transition into fall, we look forward to the change of pace in our communities as we all settle back into our routines. We hope to see you at our upcoming events and wish you a happy and healthy season ahead.
With appreciation,
Anna M. Roth, RN, MS, MPH
President & CEO
