Dr C was wonderful, especially when I pulled my questions into areas that were very pertinent and important to me, but maybe A little off track 4 a typical appointment. . I talked to her about the effects. I was having based on my experience of the death of my husband about a week ago. I also mentioned to her my experience with an Indian actor on a movie set in Nepal. That put a smile on my face and hers too.

The doctor seemed unprepared to discuss the issue that I had frankly I knew the medication that I needed. I could've just got that online if that was an option and saved the money to go into the office and my time she didn't seem to have any good solutions to the issues that I had?

I have very high cholesterol and a sibling who died recently of a sudden heart attack at age 44. When I asked about how to change my diet to help, she said my cholesterol is due to my genetics and didn't offer any way of helping to reduce my cholesterol. I asked at what point she would intervene with medication and she said if I develop high blood pressure or become pre-diabetic. This isn't good enough. I expressed concern about my rising cholesterol (especially in light of my brother and father dying of heart attacks) but she wouldn't suggest doing anything about it even though I asked her for advice multiple time. I think this is a very poor standard of care.

She was very nice and helped talk through things with me! But she never looked in my ears, took my temp, or checked my throat - which with my symptoms at the time would've been nice to have assessed.

Dr. Chandrasekaran is definitely a stand out doctor within Tahoe Forest Health System. She is very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and shows true compassion and care. I feel like Dr. C has already went above and beyond to help me, and I'm a new patient of hers. Tahoe Forest is very lucky to have her as part of their team. I highly recommend Dr. Chandrasekaran and will continue to do so.

I have greatly appreciated the care I have received from my PCP, Dr. c. She takes the time to listen, provides thoughtful information and suggestions, and genuinely values my input when discussing treatment options. I never feel pressured toward a particular course of action; instead, she presents information clearly and respects my decisions regarding how I choose to proceed with my care. She is compassionate, attentive, and responsive, and consistently works to ensure that appropriate treatment and follow-up are provided. Her collaborative approach has made me feel heard, respected, and supported throughout my care. She is truly an asset!
