Profile
Jennifer Hornback, MS, LAT, ATC brings extensive experience in sports medicine, athletic training, and human movement to Tahoe Forest Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. Prior to joining Tahoe Forest, she served as Associate Director of Sports Medicine at California State University, Fresno, where she spent four years supporting the women’s basketball program.
Originally from Quincy, California, Jennifer began her collegiate journey at Butte College, where she earned her associate degree while competing as a pitcher on the women’s softball team. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from California State University, Fresno and her Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science, specializing in Human Movement, from Concordia University Chicago.
Jennifer specializes in corrective exercise, functional movement, and injury prevention, and also holds certifications in ergonomic assessment. She is passionate about helping patients and athletes move better, recover safely, and achieve their health and performance goals.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Sjon, and their children Lynleigh and Tatum.
