Dr. Kari Rezac joined Tahoe Forest Health System in September 2024. She completed her sport medicine fellowship at UC Davis and brings extensive experience and expertise particularly in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.

Dr. Rezac has a proven track record in both clinical practice and academic contributions, having served as Chief Resident at the University of New Mexico and authored numerous medical publications. Her experience as a team physician for various collegiate and high school sports teams further enhances her ability to provide top-tier care to athletes and active individuals in our community. She has expertise in diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound guided injections and regenerative medicine/orthobiologics.

Dr. Rezac is board-certified in Sports Medicine.

I felt comfortable asking questions to be allowed ibuprofen and/or ice now. I accepted Dr. Rezac's response of no and followed her direction to continue healing. It shows the trust I have developed with this provider.

The best! Kind, compassionate, and most importantly so knowledgeable. Dr. Rezac listed to me and worked with me to come up with a plan that I felt comfortable with. She took the time to hear me and not just treat the symptoms! So grateful she's in our community!

Dr. Rezac involved me on the decision making and plan for my injury. She spent time answering all my questions. She kept things honest and also fun. Doctor's offices can be scary so being able to joke around was really nice.

Dr. Rezac was amazing! My daughter had injured her knee in a ski crash and had loss of perfusion and numbness/tingling in her foot. We had seen two other providers that said this was normal but did not explain why or the expected recovery. Dr. Rezac took the time to explain the cause of her perfusion issues and the expected course of treatment. I felt reassured after seeing her and was very impressed with her knowledge and professionalism!
