    Claire Ward was raised here on the Truckee River and is honored to be back home to care for the amazing women of this community. Claire attended UC Berkeley for undergrad and received her nursing and nurse practitioner degrees from Columbia University in New York City. Claire is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) and has had over 10 years of experience working in OBGYN across the country. Her specific interests within women’s health include birth control management, reproductive medicine, low-intervention fertility services and providing respectful and comprehensive gynecological care.

    In her free time, Claire loves to spend time outside running and hiking with her little wildlings and wonderful husband.

    Claire is amazing at what she does. Always is welcoming with a smile and reassuring. She makes sure all of my concerns are addressed and provides clear direction on next steps.

    Claire was amazing in every way. She made me feel very comfortable and cared for. She answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about healthcare. She put me at ease right away with her warmth and openness, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I feel really good about the treatment protocol she prescribed and I walked away from my appointment feeling so grateful for having found her. She's a gem, I can't say enough good things about her and I hope she hears this all the time.

    I can't say enough how happy I am to have Claire as my GYN provider. She included me in the decision making process about the treatment. She is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on treatment modalities. I especially appreciated her kindness and empathy.

    Clarie Ward is an exceptional care provider ! She is definitely on my Favorite List. I liked her as soon as I met her ! She must take a "compassionate pill" every morning before coming to work. She is caring and respectful and seems to know every medical issue about me, which is comforting. TFHD is lucky and should be grateful to have her on board !!
