Hospital Access & Visitor Policy

Our top priority is providing safe, quality healthcare for our community.  At Tahoe Forest Health System (TFHS) locations, we embrace universal mask policy and follow strict infection prevention and control measures, according to the California Department of Public Health Order from January 23, 2023.

Well-fitting medical grade masks are required by visitors (age 2 and older) in clinical locations. Masks are available for distribution at all locations.

COVID-19 screening is completed daily on any visitor entering a TFHS location. Depending on the health system location, this may be conducted electronically via a screening kiosk, or conducted verbally by a staff member asking visitors a series of questions.
