Board meeting access
Board meetings are held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and remote participation, on the fourth Thursday of each month. If the meeting falls on or between holidays, the meetings may be moved to an alternate date. View the meeting calendar.
Meetings are open to the public. In accordance with the Brown Act, agendas for regular Board meetings are posted at least 72 hours in advance, and agendas for special meetings are posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Agendas are physically posted at the Emergency Department entrance of Tahoe Forest Hospital.
Materials related to agenda items that are submitted after agenda distribution are available for public inspection at the Administration Office, 10800 Donner Pass Rd, Suite 200, Truckee, CA 96161, during normal business hours.
Minutes are generally approved at the following regular Board meeting and are posted within seven (7) days after approval.
Board meetings are streamed live and archived for future viewing. You can also view TFHD audited financial statements and read TFHD board news and press releases.
Interpretation services
Interpretation services and reasonable accommodations are available upon request. Requests should be made as early as possible prior to the meeting.

Public comment
Any interested members of the public will be provided the opportunity to address the Board of Directors. Members of the public may provide comments in person or remotely.
To remotely voice your opinion on upcoming Board meeting agenda items, use the Board’s Public Comment form. This tool is available from the time the agenda is released – generally the Friday before the meeting – until 4 pm the day before the meeting. The public may also email comments to [email protected].
All public comments on agenda items will be available to view online and become part of the administrative record of the meeting. Comments submitted after 4 p.m. the day before a meeting may not become available to the Board until after the meeting.
