Tahoe Forest Health System Celebrates Opening of New North Shore Clinic in Tahoe City

Tahoe Forest Health System is pleased to announce the opening of the new North Shore Clinic, a completely renovated Primary Care facility located at 3190 Fabian Way in Tahoe City, at the corner of Fabian Way and North Lake Boulevard/Highway 28.

The new clinic will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event on Friday, August 21, from 2–4 PM. The event will include a guest reception, remarks from healthcare and community leaders, a ribbon-cutting, clinic tours, and a celebration of the new space with invited guests and partners.

The North Shore Clinic reflects the strength and character of the community Tahoe Forest Health System serves in North Tahoe. With two dedicated Primary Care providers and a rotating schedule of specialists, the clinic is designed to meet the healthcare needs of local residents with a personal, locally grounded commitment to providing world-class healthcare close to home.

Beginning August 31, 2026, all Primary Care appointments in Tahoe City will take place at the new North Shore Clinic. The move reflects Tahoe Forest Health System’s continued commitment to providing high-quality primary care close to home for patients throughout North Tahoe.

Urgent Care Remains in Downtown Tahoe City
While Primary Care is moving to the new North Shore Clinic, Tahoe City Urgent Care will remain at its current location, close to the downtown walkable core, at 925 North Lake Blvd., Suite B, lower level.

Acute care will continue to be available 365 days a year, with a dedicated year-round provider and an additional provider during the summer months. Tahoe City Urgent Care is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM. Patients can reserve a place in line through On My Way, available through MyChart.
