Hi, my name is Amber Forster. I'm a nurse practitioner and I serve patients at the Tahoe Forest Primary Care Clinic here in Truckee. I help adults manage day-to-day issues and also help them with their long-term health care goals.
I'm originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. And then I went to Concordia University to get my Master's of Science in Nursing.
And I wanted to go into health care because I love helping people and empowering them to achieve their health care goals. Health care visits can be intimidating and I like to establish a comfortable atmosphere with my patients. And I love to educate them and help them establish their goals.
At your first visit with me, we'll get to know each other and I'll get to know your medical history a little bit more and what your health care goals are. I love the Truckee-Tahoe area. It is absolutely gorgeous and everyone here is inspiring.
