Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Wound Care

Karen has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 20 years.  She attended University of California at Santa Barbara earning a Biology degree, and then attended California State University at Long Beach for her Physical Therapy degree.  She is a Certified Lymphedema Specialist focusing on lymphedema therapy and cancer rehab but also has worked extensively in wound care therapy, acute care, pediatric, ortho, neuro and trauma rehabilitation. 

Karen’s objective is to assist patients with return to function so they can maximize their knowledge and physical potential to achieve their own goals.

Karen has lived  in Truckee for over 20 years with her husband and two teenagers who keep her very busy. She enjoys skiing, hiking, camping in her VW van and exploring National Parks.
