Profile
Katherine is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. Her path to Physical Therapy began as a mountain athlete in Yosemite, drawn to rock climbing, nordic skiing, and endurance sports. She eventually fell in love with the Sierra Nevada and is now happy to serve the Truckee community alongside the team at Tahoe Forest Hospital.
Previously, Katherine built a strong foundation in sports and orthopedics as a PTA for nine years in Mammoth Lakes, CA. She has led group classes, developed Yoga for Pelvic Health and Swimmer’s Dryland online programs, and supported adaptive sports as Development Coordinator for Access Mammoth. She has also competed in many triathlons and open water races.
Katherine is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health through education, personalized care, and a strong therapeutic relationship. She has pursued continuing education in EDS/HSD and holds certifications from the Ehlers-Danlos Society, Pelvic Floor certifications from Herman & Wallace, and training in Graded Motor Imagery for chronic pain. She is dedicated to supporting PT “frequent flyers” to improve function and reduce setbacks.
