Dr. Taylor has been a resident of Truckee since 1987, his outside interests include all types of cycling, Nordic skiing and golf. He enjoys hiking and travel with his wife, Betsy, a Registered Dietitian at TFHS. He was Medical Director of Quality for the Health System for the past five years. He also has a special interest in patient safety and engagement. Dr. Taylor’s son, Alex, is 27 and is in his medical residency program at the University of Washington. He plans to specialize in cardiology. His daughter, Annika, who is 23, skis cross country professionally for Great Britain. She lives and trains in Norway, and has her sights set on the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
