Hi, my name is Wendy Buchanan. I’m the Director of Tahoe WoRx, Occupational Health and Wellness at Tahoe Forest Hospital. We offer a variety of services to the Incline Tahoe and Truckee area.
Our services include employee health, DOT physicals, drug screens, and a variety of other services. We also offer a comprehensive wellness program. We can individualize this wellness program to meet your budget and meet the needs of your employee population. These topics could include biometric screenings, educational workshops around burnout and resilience, healthy eating, fitness, and workstation evaluations.
Tahoe WoRx also provides workers’ compensation care to our local employers. Our goal is to manage care and return employees back to work as quickly as possible. Our team provides a customized treatment plan, and our co-medical directors are experts in the field of Occupational Medicine. They lead our providers to provide best practice, and from claim reporting to claim closure, we work on that and try to close those claims as quickly as possible.
