Hi, I’m Anna Roth, president and CEO of Tahoe Forest Health System. I’m delighted to be talking with you today, even more delighted to be joining you in this journey towards health for our community. I’ve actually been in healthcare for over 32 years, and I’m a nurse by background. Many, many people ask me what drew me to this opportunity. I want to start by saying the community, the community of Truckee, the North Lake Tahoe region, all of the different communities that really make up this district. It’s truly a magical place.
As important, the people drew me here. Through the process of looking at this opportunity, I had a chance to meet many, many people in the health system. What a gifted group of talented individuals that are compassionate and dedicated and really working in sort of unmatched ways here for this region. So, I’m just excited to be part of it. I’m excited to join in this endeavor of really improving health across this region. I look forward to being out in the community, to learning from all of you, and to talking with all of you. It’s just so humbling and such a privilege to join this community and serve alongside this incredible team here at Tahoe Forest Health System.
