The Annalise King Hall Walk to Remember is a gentle, open gathering for families and the community to honor the babies that we have loved and lost during pregnancy, birth, or infancy. Walking together can be a meaningful part of the grieving process – a way to move through loss alongside others who understand.

There are two ways you can support the Walk to Remember
Wave of Light
The Wave of Light is a global event held each year on October 15th — Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day — created to break the silence surrounding this loss. As part of the Annalise King Hall Walk to Remember, every participant receives a candle as a gift — a way to carry this remembrance forward and take part in the Wave of Light wherever you are on October 15th.
Anyone can join, whether you’ve experienced this kind of loss yourself or want to stand in solidarity with a friend or family member.
How to participate
At 7:00 PM local time on October 15th, light your candle and place it somewhere it can be seen — a window, a porch, a favorite spot in your home. You’ll be part of an unbroken wave of light that ripples across the earth for 24 hours — a powerful way for families and communities to share and connect, and a gentle reminder that this grief deserves to be spoken about, not hidden away.
Share your light with us — send a photo of your candle to waveoflight@tfhd.com and we’ll add it to our Wave of Light photo gallery, to shine in solidarity with others across the globe.
