Walk-in Flu Shot Clinics to be Held at Incline Village Community Hospital
Flu season has arrived and the CDC recommends everyone over the age of 6 months get a flu shot each year. Incline Village Community Hospital (IVCH) will hold three walk-in flu shot clinics in the month of October.
The clinics will take place at the IVCH Community Room at 880 Alder Ave. from 10 am – 4 pm on the following dates:
- Thursday, October 12th
- Friday, October 20th
- Friday, October 27th
Flu shots will be available for patients ages 2 years and older. A prescription or appointment is not required.
The flu shot is $40, and $90 for the high dose for patients over 65 years old. Most insurance is accepted; however, insurance may not cover the full cost. The high dose flu shot is usually covered by Medicare. Patients are asked to bring an ID and insurance card, if applicable.
