Tahoe Forest Health System Receives Grants for Its COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund from the Lahontan Community Foundation and the Martis Camp Community Foundation

The Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation is humbled by the outpouring of community support in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lahontan Community Foundation and the Martis Camp Community Foundation have each very generously granted Tahoe Forest Health System $50K for their COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.

Their charitable contributions will help dramatically increase the Health System’s ability to address the critical need for added equipment, supplies, laboratory and diagnostic services, and clinical operations to help combat this pervasive virus.

Specifically, these grants will directly assist with the purchase of patient ventilators, personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff, the COVID-19 Drive-By Clinic, emergency staffing, and many other targeted areas of need. The Health System is extraordinarily grateful for this support as care for its COVID-19 patients continues to evolve.

Every gift, regardless of size, will help during this time of acute need. 100% of each dollar raised will go directly toward focusing on our local needs while facing this global pandemic. If you are able to help those who help you, please learn how to make a gift to the Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.

The Foundation’s unwavering gratitude for the community’s support is immeasurable. Donors have a direct and substantial impact on the extraordinary care offered at the Tahoe Forest Health System.

The Tahoe Forest Health System Foundation wants nothing more than for all community members to stay safe and be well. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions – we are here to help!
