Anna Roth CEO

Greetings from Tahoe Forest Health System!

Dear Community Members,

This past month has been a meaningful one across Tahoe Forest Health System, with progress that reflects both the needs of our community and the generosity that continues to shape our future.

We recently achieved an important milestone with the completion of the $10 million Surgical Renovation Campaign at Incline Village Community Hospital. This is the largest campaign in our history and represents a shared investment in expanding access to high-quality surgical care close to home. I’m deeply grateful to the many donors and community members who made this possible.

We’re also continuing to expand access to care in practical ways. New heart screening is now available at both of our hospitals, helping patients better understand their risk and take action earlier, without needing to leave the region.

In maternity care, we’re seeing encouraging progress. Breastfeeding rates among Medicaid patients have increased significantly, reflecting a strong commitment to healthier starts for moms and babies. At the same time, we’re seeing more complex needs, and our teams are working closely together to ensure safe, coordinated care for every family we serve.

We are also continuing to hear from our community through our 5,000 Voices initiative. Feedback from across the region is helping shape our future planning, and there is still time to participate for those who haven’t yet shared their voice.

Finally, I would like to highlight the connection we continue to foster within our community. Nearly 600 messages of appreciation were sent to our physicians for Doctors’ Day, and we were proud to support Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue with a $10,000 Foundation gift, recognizing their vital role in keeping our community safe.

Thank you for your continued trust in Tahoe Forest Health System. It’s a privilege to care for this community.

Warm regards,
Anna M. Roth, RN, MS, MPH

Take Control of Your Heart Health

Advanced heart screening is now available right here in our community. CT Coronary Calcium Scoring is a quick, non-invasive exam that detects calcium buildup in the coronary arteries, often identifying heart disease risk before symptoms appear.

This fast and convenient scan requires no IV, no contrast, and no recovery time, making it an easy step toward proactive heart care. Results can help guide personalized prevention plans and support informed decisions about your health.
